Tyson Talhan has joined Johnson Doyle as a 2023/2024 Articled Student. Tyson recently graduated with his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University. Before attending law school, Tyson graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2020 where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a Minor in Commerce. Tyson also spent a semester of his legal education studying International Law in Lyon, France.

During his time in law school, Tyson was an elected member of both the Law Union of British Columbia (TRU Chapter) and TRU’s Criminal Law Club. Tyson was a member of the TRU Law Ice Hockey Team that participated in the Western Law Schools Ice Hockey Championship. Tyson also spent the summer of 2021 volunteering as a Student Clinician with the Law Student’s Legal Advice Program.

Tyson is fluent in both English and Punjabi. He was born and raised in Surrey, B.C. and looks forward to establishing his criminal defense practice in the Lower Mainland.
